- Am I being paid the correct weekly wage?
- Is the adjuster ignoring me or not getting back to me timely?
- Has a nurse case manager (NCM) been assigned to me?
- Is the NCM attending my visits with my doctor?
- Is the NCM changing my doctor’s appointments to accommodate them?
- Is the NCM or adjuster talking to my doctor behind my back and changing my treatment plan or restrictions?
- Are they denying my claim?
- Are they keeping me from seeing my family doctor?
- Are they refusing to send me to doctors that my doctor has recommended?
- Are they keeping me from seeing any doctor?
- Are they denying or delaying diagnostic testing, MRIs, or surgery?
- Has the adjuster offered to pay my mileage for attending medical appointments?
- Have I caught the adjuster lying to me about anything no matter how big or small?
- Has the adjuster mentioned sending me to an “independent” doctor? (“Independent” is a code word for “their doctor”).
- When I mention to the adjuster that I might want to ask a lawyer about my case, does the adjuster threaten to stop talking to me or treat me badly?
- Do I feel overwhelmed?
- Do I feel like I’m about to be cheated or harmed by the adjuster, their doctor, or NCM?
